What does the word "post" mean to you? Nothing? Whatever, normal.
To me it means the signing of Frank Stitt's cookbook at the headquarters of the company I work for. Long lines had formed of people wanting to buy books, but the cash registers weren't online yet. To quell any brewing riot, employees were told to simply write receipts on Post-It Notes. One woman, overwhelmed and drawlingly Southern, could not handle the pressure. At the height of the fervor, her panicked voice rang through the lobby: "WE NEED MORE POSTY NOTES!"
They've been posty notes to me ever since.
Now they can be for you, too.
For a different kind of poster, though, click your heels on over to Design/ers for Obama. The art is thought-provoking and sometimes funny, but always beautiful. Here are a few examples.
You can download and print (free!), or just browse the great images.
I promise the Woodside will get off the campaign trail and back in the kitchen soon. L Sis has demanded the appearance of Broiled Goat Cheese with Pumpkin Seed Sauce before the weekend is through.
